Last Male Northern White Rhino On Planet Has 24/7 Armed Guard Protection

Thanks to cowardly poachers, this is the last male northern white rhino left on the planet, and he’s called Sudan.

Sudan lives at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya, and thankfully, he is very well looked after. So much so, that he has 24/7 armed guard protection.
The conservancy takes the threat of this beautiful animal becoming extinct very, very seriously, and rightly so. It should never have got to this point in the first place.
There are 40 armed rangers that patrol the 90,000-acre conservancy, which is also home to 23 white rhinos and 105 black rhinos, making it the largest black rhino sanctuaries in East Africa.
However 40-year-old Sudan is their main priority alongside the other two female white rhinos that they also watch over more closely.
The Ol Pejeta Conservancy hopes to raise funds in order to keep the rhino rangers safe, which in turn gives hope of a future for the animal.
On their GoFundMe page, they state: “Please keep giving and spreading the word, our wildlife’s future, depends on you.”
